What happens after the free trial?
Your card is taken when you sign up and first charged on day 15. Cancel any time before then from Settings → Plan & billing and you won't pay a penny.
Who counts as an extra person?
Anyone on your team who needs their own login — stylists, a manager, reception. You're included in the £15. You pay for the seats you choose; add one whenever you need it (we'll tell you the price first). If someone leaves, their seat stays open for the next person — remove it in Plan & billing to stop paying for it.
Is everything really included?
Yes. Bookings, deposits, payments, forms, reminders, the client app, your store and campaigns — for you and everyone you add. Messages: 100 a month, plus 25 for each extra person.
I rent chairs out. Can renters go on my account?
Only if their takings are yours. Card payments and deposits on your account go to your bank, so a renter who keeps their own money needs their own SalonX account at £15.
What about card fees?
Card payments are processed by Stripe at their standard rates and paid straight to your bank. SalonX takes no commission on your bookings.
How does founders pricing work?
It's our launch price, locked in for as long as you stay subscribed. Lifetime is one payment for you, for good — extra people on your team are £5 a month each.
