Services that need a consultation first
Make a service bookable online only after a consultation — and mark existing clients as done.
Some services shouldn't be bookable by someone you've never seen — a full head of colour, extensions. SalonX can hold them behind a consultation.
Setting it up
Services → the service → Consultations, patch tests & aftercare → *Needs a consultation first* → pick which consultation service counts. Optionally attach a consultation form that has to be completed too.
What the client sees
They tap the colour service and the page explains they need a consultation first, with the consultation selected for them to book. Once they've attended it (and filled in the form, if there is one), the colour service opens up.
Clients you've already consulted
Open their record → Consultation tab → Consultation on file → say what kind it was and mark it as done. They skip the gate from then on. There's no "mark everyone" button on purpose — it's too easy to wave through a whole book by mistake.
Patch tests
Separately, a service can require a patch test within your validity window (Settings → Booking → Patch test validity). Record tests on the client's Patch tests tab; expiring ones show on your dashboard.
