Connecting Stripe

Settings → Payouts → Connect with Stripe. Stripe walks you through it: your business details, bank account and ID. Most salons are done in ten minutes; sometimes Stripe asks for a document and verification takes a day or two.

Why Stripe

Your money never sits with SalonX. Card payments and deposits go to your own Stripe account and on to your bank on Stripe's payout schedule (daily, after a short initial hold). You can change the schedule and see every payment in Stripe.

Once connected

• Deposits can be switched on.
• The till can take cards, saved cards and Tap to Pay.
• Retail commission from your shop is paid into the same account each night.

Manage payment settings on the Payouts tab opens your Stripe dashboard for bank changes and payout history.
